Professional photo standards
Use clear images with natural lighting, simple composition and enough empty space for responsive cropping. A professional portrait should remain the primary image; action and travel photography can bring energy deeper into the page.
For the profile image, use a portrait at least 1200 × 1500 pixels and save it as profile.jpg. The website applies the depth and scan animation automatically.
Publishing safely
Remove location metadata before uploading, avoid identity documents and workplace access details, and get permission before publishing recognisable photos of other people.
